The region surrounding the holiday paradise of Mayrhofen also has much to offer. Sledding fun is offered by the toboggan run on Mount Ahorn, Wiesenhof, Tristenbachalm in Ginzling or the longest natural toboggan run in Austria - the Gerlosstein toboggan run, which has won many awards and is 7 km long. Start off on a leisurely ski tour, explore the surrounding area on a relaxing winter hike, visit the ice skating rink or enjoy some sporty circuits along the surrounding cross-country ski trails.
And if all that still isn’t enough, you can head off to the Hintertuxer Glacier and explore over 60 kilometres of slopes, a Board Park, Funslope, Nature’s Ice Palace, Gletscherflohpark and fantastic freeride runs 365 days of the year.
